There seems to have been a lot of suffering in your childhood and it is so hard to read about suffering kids. I think that especially people of color, and immigrants, often also grow up in poor conditions and suffer a whole lot more, and I think your childhood experience make you connect stronger to them. I think it is the time for people to come together and unite against the powerful stuck-up forces.
