Hacktoberfest Weekend Challenge: Build for a Friend
What I Built
I built [NOME DO PROJETO], a small AI-powered tool created for [NOME/PESSOA].
The idea came from a real problem they had: [PROBLEMA].
Instead of building another generic AI chatbot, I wanted to create something focused on their specific workflow and make it simple enough for them to actually use.
The project can [EXPLIQUE EM 2 OU 3 FRASES O QUE ELE FAZ].
The most important part for me was that this wasn't just a technical experiment. I built it because it solves a problem for someone I know.

How I Built It
The project was built with:
- [OPEN-SOURCE MODEL] β AI model
- [FRAMEWORK/AGENT] β agent/orchestration
- [TECHNOLOGIES] β application
- [DATABASE] β data
- [OTHER TOOLS]
The AI runs using [LOCAL INFERENCE / OPEN-WEIGHT MODEL / OPEN-SOURCE FRAMEWORK].
I wanted the open-source components to be part of the core of the product, rather than simply adding an AI API on top of a traditional application.
Why Does Open Innovation Matter?
For this project, open innovation gave me something that a closed API alone wouldn't:
freedom to choose how the AI works.
I can change the model, run it locally, experiment with different models and control how the agent uses tools and context.
It also makes the project easier to adapt to the person it was actually built for.
For me, that's the biggest value of open AI: the technology becomes something I can shape around a real problem instead of adapting the problem to the technology.
