I love that researching a post forces me to understand the topic better and helps others at the same time. Sometimes when I think I know a topic really well, writing a post highlights that there are loads of things I just don't.
A colleague recently shared the 90–9–1 rule with me. 1% are creators, 9% are contributors (and will leave comments) and 90% are consumers. For every person leaving nice feedback, there are 10x as many people who enjoyed it and derived value from it and just didn't reach out to you. I've been keeping that in mind as I write.
