Intermediate/Advanced understanding of C# (which means Java is up there too).
Self-taught C++ to a fairly high understanding of syntax and how the language functions.
Currently focusing on Android development as well as continuing to learn C++.
I have several C# projects that would be interesting to port to Android. Which would look pretty great on my portfolio.
projects and hacks
Recently developed a class for C# CLI applications which generates menus that are capable of accepting user input. I found that my console applications in C# had several loops and several menus within those loops including data validation code, so files were getting very large and difficult to read.
The class essentially turns any menu into a two line job. And allows for any number of menu list entries. It reinforces the principal of keeping your code easy to read and understand.
I am available for any beginner discussions on Android development.
As well as any questions new learners may have in C# and C++. I am happy to help anyone - especially individuals trying to learn programming, as even though programming may seem difficult to "get"... It truly is quite fun when you understand it, which is what we are here for :D.
