Welcome to the second edition of Recap Sunday, our weekly series where we share what happened behind the scenes at QueueForge during the previous week.
This week was different from most weeks. Instead of focusing heavily on development, planning, or marketing, we decided to take things a little slower.
Over the past months, QueueForge has become a large part of our daily lives. While we enjoy building it, we also know that constantly working without breaks is not sustainable.
Because of that, we spent more time with friends, enjoyed activities outside of development, and allowed ourselves to step away from our computers for a while.
As a result, there is not a long list of new features or technical updates to share this week, and that is completely fine.
We believe that taking breaks is an important part of any long term project. Sometimes the best thing you can do for productivity is to stop working for a moment and come back with a fresh perspective.
While QueueForge remained in our minds, this week was mostly about recharging and maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life.
Highlights of the Week
- Spent more time with friends and family.
- Took a short break from intensive development work.
- Focused on maintaining a healthy work life balance.
- Reflected on future plans for QueueForge.
- Returned with fresh motivation for the coming weeks.
Looking Ahead
Next week will probably be similar. We will be traveling for part of the week, which means development will continue at a slower pace than usual.
While we may not spend as much time working on QueueForge, we believe it is important to occasionally step away from a project and return with a clear mind.
We will likely share more about our trip in a separate blog post, so stay tuned for that.
Sometimes progress means moving fast, and sometimes it means taking a break. This week was the second kind, and next week will probably be as well.
See you next week,
The QueueForge Team
