I'm Josh. I've been writing code since I was a kid, where I wrote BASIC on a Commodore 64. I had no idea what I was doing, but it was fun to see if I could enter these magical incantations correctly and make the computer do stuff. I suppose that's still what I'm doing in some sense.
I got a degree in Computer Science in 2002, then worked for Apple on the macOS team for about six years helping them make software updates and security updates. After that, in 2008 I became a full-time web developer and I've been making websites and web apps ever since!
These days, I spend most of my time in PHP, CSS, JavaScript and HTML, but I'm always open to learning new things. My current favorite framework is Laravel.
My favorite non-coding hobby would probably be video games. But I barely have time to play them! It makes me a little sad. I love to spend time with my family. I'm a husband and a father of three.
