How to Create a Hanging Bird Nest Using SelfCAD’s AI Assistant
Creating a hanging bird nest can be a fun and creative 3D modeling project, and SelfCAD’s AI Assistant makes it easier to turn your idea into a detailed design. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to use SelfCAD’s AI-powered tools to create a hanging bird nest, customize its shape and features, and prepare the model for 3D printing. Once you launch the editor, click on AI modeling on the Toolbar as shown below
The highlighted box indicates where we input our prompt
The assistant feedback suggests the elements that will be included in the model. Once we’ve reviewed them, we click Prepare parts
The window shows the dimensions of the model, and since we will be including all the elements, we click on Generate Elements
Beside each element in this process, you’ll see the ‘Creating’ sign. Wait until all the elements have finished generating and the sign turns to ‘Ready’. Click ‘Assemble Model’
