How to Create a Moon Lamp Using SelfCAD’s AI Assistant
A moon lamp combines decorative lighting with the distinctive appearance of the Moon, making it an exciting project for 3D design. In this tutorial, we’ll use SelfCAD’s AI Assistant to generate a moon lamp from a text prompt, focusing on its spherical shape and lunar surface details to create a model that can be refined further
Once you launch the editor, click on AI modeling on the Toolbar as shown below

The highlighted box indicates where we input our prompt
The assistant feedback suggests the elements that will be included in the model. Once we’ve reviewed them, we click Prepare parts
The window shows the dimensions of the model, and since we will be including all the elements, we click on Generate Elements
Beside each element in this process, you’ll see the ‘Creating’ sign. Wait until all the elements have finished generating and the sign turns to ‘Ready’. Click ‘Assemble Model’
Click on Preview Assembly to see how the model turned out
This is how the model turned out
