I was starting to get to this point, but it sounds like I might get a new job and spend the next 2 years gaining new skills “marching orders” style. Expected level-ups would be:
Team coding and cross-training
Supporting and restoring crucial production databases
More PL/SQL
It leaves me without the time and wrists (repetitive stress!) to do things I’d wanted to start:
Blogging / tutorials
Teaching a lot
But it’s kind of like a soldier with a chance to spend some time on the special forces ... it’d be an opportunity too good to skip out on. Blogs can always be revived. :-)
