Blockchain. I just don't see what the hype is about. I've not seen a single useful/successful application
Web development - this is a funny one as two years ago I'd mention this not in the category of "not interested" but even "actively avoiding" - I'd probably give in my notice if I was forced to do this at my job. Life has funny ways though, and after deciding to run a startup (as an indie hacker), I was pretty much forced to pick up web dev and at a fast pace. And, surprisingly, it turned out I no longer hate it. Kudos here goes to Vue/Nuxt/Vuetify teams as they built a framework that even this hardcore back-end dev enjoys working with. I did not see that coming.
