Github, the service responsible for hosting repositories of personal projects, works of large companies, sophisticated frameworks, reputable social projects, study objects from all over the world, and much more. The creativity doesn't stop there, as it is from the same place that hilarious and relaxed projects emerge.
Want to clear your head a bit? Check out some of the examples to get a few laughs...
The Useless Web
The page with a single button and with the sole objective: to redirect the visitor to other random websites on the interweb. Some pages don't make sense and have no explanation, others are jokes, and there are those that only display endlessly looping videos. Try your luck!
The fartscroll.js
Well... Everyone farts. Now web pages can too! What's the problem, right?
Nocode
I think the "Getting started" already demonstrates the power of Nocode.
The project also has a very helpful community. Here are some of the open issues xD.
Simple code, very easy to learn, self-explanatory, elegant, very difficult to introduce a bug, unsupported project, nothing! Less is more, right?! :)
What the commit
Another site that, when the page is reloded, it generates random messages to use in a commit message. Using What the commit is undoubtedly the 8th rule for an impeccable commit message. Have you made your commit today?
Semicolon
Thinking of learning a new language? How about programming using only semicolons? That's the goal of Semicolon! Have you ever thought about programming using just one button?
And speaking of new languages...
BIIIIRL! BOOOOOOOOORA POGRAMA CUMPADI!
The official language of Marcelo Bambam's video, a former Brazilian Big Brother contestant, that went viral on the internet. I can imagine my college days when professors introduced programming using PORTUGOL. Just imagine how sensational and fun it would be to have your first programming experience with a language like that.
ArnoldC
The concept is the same, a language based on the famous quotes of fucking Arnold Schwarzenegger. That's it! It's show time!
TrumpScript
This project is finished and is no longer accepting pull requests, but it's still worth a visit because of its features.
five.js
This greatly simplified the use of the five in programming. I don't think even Ruby thought of implementing such facilitative methods like these.
Is-thirteen
Who has never had a problem comparing a variable with the number 13? Here's the solution!
Apparently, the project was created to mock the various unnecessary packages like this one. Want to contribute? Please read the first code of conduct.
Comcastifyjs
This time, the satire of The Onion's repo (the same repo as fartscroll.js) was to upload a project that significantly reduces image loading speed on a webpage. As it says in its description, "Sometimes images load too quickly."
The success was such that one of the suggestions in a comment was to create a premium membership system with the possibility of further reducing the speed.
Lorem ipsum alternatives
For designers and developers, there is a standard type of text called "lorem ipsum". This type of text serves as an alternative to test how a text will be displayed on a page or in a certain area of it.
However, what's the fun in this text that we barely understand? Here are some other examples / jokes of lorem ipsum that are cooler.
Gangsta lorem ipsum

Corporate ipsum
Leverage agile frameworks to provide a robust synopsis for high level overviews. Iterative approaches to corporate strategy foster collaborative thinking to further the overall value proposition. Organically grow the holistic world view of disruptive innovation via workplace diversity and empowerment.
The fun doesn't stop there! All these examples and more can be found in awesome-ipsum. There are several alternatives!
Inspiring
And the fun doesn't stop here! From the same author of The Useless Web, which by the way has some quite peculiar projects. This one is focused on those who are seeking online inspiration. The blog features a good amount of projects, links, and talks that aim to awaken the Steve Jobs within you!

Your post is super super fun hahaha! Sometimes we forget how funny and enjoyable programming can be. I love how people dedicate so much time to it and, beyond the humor, effectively practice concepts in the field while adding a hilarious touch hahaha.
Sometimes we just need to focus on a good purpose to get things going 😅
Curious post @lsfernandes92 ! Thanks for sharing it 👌
Glad you enjoyed :)
