timeout error - accessing non-http service from open-shift

I am trying to deploy my .net WCF rest APIs into the windows open shift container. One of the API is consuming the non-http service hosted on the vm. please let me know what configuration or objects need to add in the open shift to connect to the service. currently getting timeout error while accessing the API. However port is open and able to invoke from the non-non-openshift shift existing setup. @techworld_with_nana
