NAB Connect Login: A Simple Step-by-Step Guide for Business Banking Users

Signing in to your business banking should be simple. This guide walks you through the NAB Connect login process step by step, explains first-time setup, shows you how to reset a forgotten password, and shares practical mobile token tips.

NabConn is an independent guide site, not the bank. NabConn is not affiliated with NAB; it simply explains each step in plain language so you can bank online with confidence.

What is NAB Connect?

NAB Connect is National Australia Bank's online banking platform built for businesses. Where the personal NAB app is designed for individuals, NAB Connect is made for organisations that need multiple users, role-based permissions, higher payment limits and approval workflows. With it you can view account balances and transactions, make and authorise payments, pay staff and suppliers, manage direct debits and credits, and download statements and reports for your accounting software.

How to sign in: step by step

  1. Open your browser and go to the NAB website, then choose NAB Connect from the log in menu, or open the NAB Connect login page directly.
  2. Enter your User ID. This is different from a personal NAB ID; it is issued by your organisation's NAB Connect administrator, or provided by NAB when your service was set up.
  3. Enter your password and click Log in.
  4. If your organisation uses a security token, enter the one-time code generated by your physical token or mobile token when prompted.
  5. You will be taken to the NAB Connect home screen, where you can select the account or service you need.

First-time setup

If you are signing in for the first time, have your welcome email or setup letter handy. Enter the User ID and temporary password you were issued, then follow the prompts to create a new password — choose something long and unique that you do not reuse anywhere else. You will also be asked to register a security token. Most users choose the mobile token, which lives in the NAB Connect Mobile app and generates the one-time codes you need to log in and authorise payments.

Forgot your password?

On the login page, select the forgotten password option and follow the prompts. You will need your User ID and access to your registered token or contact details so NAB can verify your identity before you set a new password. If you are not your organisation's administrator and the self-service reset does not work, contact your administrator first — they can often restore your access without a call to the bank.

Mobile token tips

  • Keep the NAB Connect Mobile app updated so your token keeps working after phone updates.
  • Turn on fingerprint or face unlock inside the app for faster, safer approvals.
  • Register your token on the phone you carry every day; you will need it both to log in and to authorise payments.
  • Never share a token code with anyone. NAB will never call or email you to ask for one.
  • If you change phones, transfer or re-register your token before wiping the old device.

Stay safe

Always check you are on the genuine NAB website before entering your details, and bookmark the login page rather than following links in emails or text messages. NabConn never asks for your password or token codes — if a page does, close it.
