It doesn't surprise me that there is bias and discrimination in the tech sector, but it does make me sad. There was a time not so long ago when telling people you were into computers would make things awkward; when programmers were marginalized and made fun of. You'd think this would foster a culture where anyone who was into technology would be welcomed and race, or gender, or whatever, wouldn't matter.
