Overview
I completed a product data analysis project using Excel based on Jumia product listings.
The project focuses on cleaning the dataset, analysing pricing, discounts, reviews and ratings, and creating a simple dashboard to present the findings.
What I Did
- Cleaned and prepared 109 unique product listings
- Removed duplicate records and cleaned inconsistent data
- Analysed prices, discounts, reviews and ratings
- Created calculated categories and summary statistics
- Built analysis tables and a dashboard in Excel
Key Insights
- Average current price: 1,208.26
- Average discount: 36%
- Average rating: 3.88
- Budget products formed the largest price category
- High-discount products formed the largest discount category
