I built an AI-powered Receipt, Invoice & Expense Tracker that helps freelancers, small business owners, and shopkeepers manage their finances in one place.

Managing expenses manually, keeping track of receipts, and creating invoices can be time-consuming. My project aims to make these everyday tasks simpler with the help of AI.

How I Built It
The project combines a simple, user-friendly expense management interface with AI-powered automation.

The planned workflow is:

Users upload a receipt or enter an expense manually.
The AI extracts details such as the merchant, date, amount, and expense category.
Users can review and save the extracted information.
The application organizes expenses and displays summaries on a dashboard.
Users generate invoices and keep track of their financial records.
The project is designed around open-source AI tools and frameworks, allowing the AI components to be customized and improved as the project grows.

Why Does Open Innovation Matter?
