Nio – an orchestrator that gives your coding models a project memory.

I kept running into the same thing with AI coding tools: the model is capable, but every session starts from zero. It rediscovers the project, forgets what it decided yesterday, and stops halfway through anything long.
Nio isn't a model. It sits between you and the models you already use (Claude, GPT, or a local model) and does the parts around them:
• It keeps a memory of each project, so the next session starts with what was done and decided.
• It plans, then builds, then reviews, and each of those roles can use a different model. Cheap work goes to a cheap model.
• It runs the commands and edits on your machine, with approvals for anything risky.
• Large tasks split into pieces that run side by side, and a plan can run several items at once.
• It resumes unfinished work instead of starting over.
It runs in the terminal and in VS Code, with its own unique extension. ChatGPT and Claude can also use your Nio memory over MCP. You can use the hosted plan or your own API keys.

The demo on the page shows it building an app and then recalling it the next day. Downloads: https://nioai.run
I'd really like feedback on where it gets in your way.
