A little about my sleep schedule history
Ever since I was a little kid πΆ,
I used to go to bed early and wake up early in the morning. (9pm-6am)π
Even in my school life I was able to maintain my sleeping habits
(10pm-6am)π
When I joined my engineering college, I started sleeping a little late. π
But I had to wake up early to go to college. (11pm/12pm - 6am)π
Eventually, in second year my schedule became 11pm - 5am and in third year it became 11pm - 4:00am/4:30am. π
Then, as the third year ended and burnout ruined my sleep schedule. π
Recently, I managed to recover from the burnout and now my sleep schedule is back to 11pm-4am. π
Why should you wake up early?
1. You get more time in the day

Goddamit the day feels very long. π
(Which is really nice, but it feels weird sometimes)
When you wake up at 4am π,
you are basically done with most of your daily tasks by 9am π€.
You practically have a minimum of 12 productive hours in a day.
----------------------------
###
2. You get a sense of achievement

This feeling of accomplishment is unparalleled.
-------------------------
###
3. πSilenceπ
It is usually very silent in the early morning which makes it easier to concentrate on your tasks.
-----------------------------
###
4. You get a proud feeling that while most of the world is sleeping, you are working. This feeling is really good for your moraleπ―

--------------------------
###
5. πΈYou'll feel better about yourselfπΈ
You'll have a positive attitude which will help you increase your output (or at-least make you happier)
---------------------
###
6. Youβll Have a Better Chance at Completing your tasksπ―
---------------------
###
7. You can also just take it slow

-----------
###
8. πSome health benefits π

- It improves your quality of sleep.
- It gives you more time to exercise.
- Not only you've more time to exercise but exercising in the morning gives maximum benefits.
- It helps you to sustain a healthier diet.
- It makes your skin look healthier(I don't have any proof though)
----------------
###
9. πSome funny (and possibly sarcastic) reasons π
- You can talk about it on social media.
- Internet speed is usually faster in the morning.
- Your parents will become more happier for you.
- You can brag about waking up early.
-------------------------------------------------------

Love it! I am gonna start from today itself. I hope one day I'll be back to thank you for this article π€π
Let me know how it works out for you π―
(Also, remember that it will be difficult in the beginning and you might even feel fatigued )
After long such light hearted article...
Good one nirbhay π
Just a friendly suggestion atleast you can take minimum of 7-8hrs of sleep at night it would be beneficial for your health...π€
Thanks Karanβ€οΈπ
About the 8 hours sleep, I researched about it and I found that amount of sleep required is different for everyone(adult).
I think required hours of sleep depends on your lifestyle and many other factors. As I was a student, I slept only 3-4 hours at night and it was ok. When I went to my first job (8 am-4 pm) I slept 5-6 hours.
I worked as a trainer in coding school, got lectures at 4 pm so I slept up to 10 hours per night (or per day, cause my sleep schedule was 3 am-1 pm).
Now I sleep for 8 hours while I'm back to work 8 hours a day from 9 am to 5 pm. So I found my body needed various amounts of sleep in the past depends on how intense my life was.
Also a very good article, thanks for that :)
You are absolutely correctπ―
Thank you for reading and leaving a feedback :D
Waking up early is totally a different experience and it makes me feel like I have a lot of time to finish of all my tasks for the day. Although I find it difficult to wake up early daily π π I try to wake up at least once in a week.
That's great too Ashwin π―
Interesting I am curious though how do you manage to keep such a sleep schedule if there are events on at a late time? Or if you have friends that like to go out late and come home late?
Once you form a habit, 1-2 day cheat doesn't ruin your sleep schedule.
One simple but effective suggestion "never set the alarm of ur favorite song or tuneβ" Set a buzzing tune.
BTW thanks for this amazing article. I used to wake up automatically during college days but the lockdown has spoiled my schedule. Again I've decided to wake up early. π
All the best for the positive change π―π―π―
Love this - thank you

When I wake up before 10am, I am so tired that I do not manage to do anything allday
It is not the case when you form a habit to wake up early. I agree you feel fatigued in the beginning.
This is not always true! There are those of us of a different chronotype. Our circadian rhythms are different.
Same here, and I wrote a joke of a response for us!
