Nowadays almost everyone need to compress images. It can be for website, blog, social media or just to save storage.
There are many online tools available, but recently I tried NoFileUpload and TinyPNG. Both are good, but they work little different.

What is NoFileUpload?
NoFileUpload is a privacy-first website where files are processed inside your browser. This means your images are not uploaded to any server.
I like this because sometimes I work with personal screenshots and documents. I don't feel comfortable uploading everything online.

What is TinyPNG?
TinyPNG is one of the most popular image compression websites. Many developers and bloggers are already using it.
It gives very good compression and also supports PNG, JPG, WebP and AVIF images.

Which One I Like?
For only compressing images, TinyPNG is really good. It is simple and gives nice results.
But for my daily work, I use NoFileUpload more.
The reason is simple. I don't need different websites for different work. If I want to resize image, remove EXIF data, convert HEIC images or compress PDF, I can do everything from one place.
Also I like the privacy idea. Files stay on my own device and I don't have to think where my files are going.
Final Thoughts
Both websites are useful and both have their own users.
If your work is only image compression, TinyPNG is a good option.
But if you are looking for an all-in-one browser based file toolkit with image, PDF and metadata tools, then I think NoFileUpload is worth trying.
I am not saying one tool is perfect for everyone. It depends on your work.
