Boosted my productivity 1.25x

Six months ago, I decided to start building for the very first time. With 10+ years of experience in analytics, I knew I wanted to create something in that space. The result was Octo (inspired by the “smart animal”), a Chrome extension that analyzes Google Sheets data using natural language. You can chat with data, create charts and set up notifications. AI part is powered by chatGPT in the backend.

After speaking with potential users, I added a feature that automates these analyses and sends insights directly to your inbox on a set schedule. This was game changer for me because now I get the insights about past week directly in my inbox without the need for dashboard or excel or google sheets. More recently, I launched a conditional notifications feature: if certain conditions in Google Sheets are met, you’ll get an automatic email alert.

Please check it out and leave any feedback or comments.
