Hello,
I was wonder - why not create the PHP Templates engine similar to the native PHP way. So I did it in the very first SPA-Cart version long time ago in 2012.
It was the right choice as I did a lot of medium and some big projects with SPA-Cart. It was sold over 80 copies on CodeCanyon. It has many good reviews.
I had many questions from customers.
My goal is to avoid native PHP tags in templates. So I added more templates tags on heavy functions. Let's see - maybe next upgrade, I will replace all <?php ... ?> tags.
I also made CSS styles formatting with Claude AI. I just asked the correct prompt and uploaded all CSS files(20 per question) - it formatted all to me. I tested some pages - it looks correct. It looks very easy to work with AI.
There were many other changes but my goal now is to avoid PHP tags in the templates engine to avoid vulnerability issues.
Regards,
Oleg
