🔍 WHAT MAKES A GOOD BUG REPORT?
Finding a bug is only half the job. Explaining it clearly is what makes the finding useful.
A strong bug report should answer five questions:
- What is the issue? Give it a clear, specific title.
- How can it be reproduced? Include precise steps.
- What should happen? Describe the expected behavior.
- What actually happened? Record the observed behavior.
- Why does it matter? Explain the impact and support your assessment with evidence.
Avoid vague descriptions like "the website is broken." Focus on what you observed, how someone else can verify it, and what the evidence demonstrates.
