Then I fixed a build issue removing some junk from gradle-wrapper.properties:
zipStoreBase=https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-7.6
zipStorePath=~/gradle-distributed/\$GRADLE_VERSION
and removed
android.defaults.buildfeatures.buildconfig=true
added
android.useAndroidX=true
so gradle upgrades could run, set latest Android api works.
After fixing several Java errors I got as far as an error:

Apparently, this default Google map needs a key which requires payment set up... And I think Mapbox is probably preferable to the current set up. I need to get the right X-API-Key to continue this as well...
Why Does Open Innovation Matter?
Ability to download model and run it locally means one can run all the LM Studio tools and Gemma 4 locally.
