How often you use algorithms in your daily coding ?

I started my career as a Linux System Administrator and then switched to Application support engineer and did both System & Application support later. In this time period I had learned some Python and Bash.

Now I switched to Infrastructure automation developer and working with JS & Bash. So, I have been hearing about Algorithms these days but I wonder how much they will be useful for me.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
