When I saw that dev.to has this fantastic PWA solution I was like "finally there's a website that does not force users to use some native application without any added functionality" (Yes, I am looking at you linked.in).

I don't see what would be the added value of such an application.*

LinkedIn is a pretty good counter-example for pretty much every good practice.
