The GOP’s latest public-service announcement: difference is a virus.
Gay? Contagious.
Trans? Contagious.
Muslim? Contagious.
Immigrant who didn’t vote like your uncle? Extremely contagious.
Anyone who doesn’t treat 1954 as a binding contract? Quarantine immediately.
It’s impressive, really. A whole political brand built on “freedom” that treats other people’s existence like a biohazard. They’re not against people. They’re just against people who fail the vibe check of their church basement, their flag pole, and whatever they last heard on talk radio.
And then they act shocked when the rest of the country looks at the panic, the bans, the “protect the children from books and pronouns” routine, and says: yeah, that looks a lot like racism and xenophobia with better branding.
Nothing says strength like being terrified that someone else’s identity might jump the fence and infect your beliefs. Very secure movement. Very normal.
