I know it might be an unfair comparison but I see meteor as a better tech to work on for a web application in place of the MEAN stack. It is real-time in nature and to my knowledge it offers more when compared to the MEAN stack. It might have a less learning curve though.

The most used technology by developers is not Javascript.
It's not Python or HTML.
It hardly even gets mentioned in interviews or listed as a pre-requisite for jobs.
I'm talking about Git and version control of course.
