I use email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business and Cisco Jabber.
I prefer email for leaving a footprint, Microsoft Teams due to the integration with Trello, Skype4B and the Microsoft Flows that come with 365.
The rest could probably go, but I need Slack for keeping up with the Oracle APEX world.

Absolutely, it's ridiculous. Every department has a different preferred way of communication and it's completely unnecessary aha.
My favourite thing is getting a notification asking me if I have seen a notification on another platform about something that they are about to come over to talk about in person ...
