Most people think that when they are inside the air they breathe is clean. Sometimes the air inside homes and offices and schools can be worse than the air outside. We spend all of our time inside so bad air inside can really hurt our health.

Indoor air quality is how clean the air is inside buildings. Good indoor air is clean and easy to breathe. Bad indoor air quality happens when there is much dust or mold or chemicals inside and not enough fresh air.
