CVV Dashboard: Bring ClasseViva into Home Assistant

CVV Dashboard brings the ClasseViva school register into Home Assistant. It gives families one place to check grades, averages, school notices, homework, calendars and more. I built it to solve a problem in my own home. I have two children in two different schools. The original web portal made daily checks slow and awkward. I had to move between accounts and pages to find the information I needed. I wanted a clear view of both school accounts in the system I already use to manage my home. That first need became CVV Dashboard: a Home Assistant integration with a Lovelace card. The integration and the card come in one package. The card finds the data from the integration by itself, so you do not have to enter entity IDs or install a separate card. Grades and averages	Voti e medie
The Grades view shows recent results, with the newest grade first. Each row shows the grade, date and subject. You can also check the results for each subject. The Averages view gives a wider picture. It shows the overall average across school terms and the average for each subject. The Noticeboard view shows school messages and their attachments. It also has a filter for unread notices. The Agenda view groups events by day and sorts them by date and time. It starts with today and shows future events. If the portal does not answer, the card shows an error and keeps the current year's valid events. It does not replace them with an empty list. Each task can include its due date and time, subject, teacher and assignment date. The list follows the due dates. When the homework data changes, the card can refresh its view. The Absences and Late Arrivals view shows absences, late arrivals and early departures. It lists the newest records first and shows whether each record is justified. The Teacher Meetings view shows available and booked meeting slots for today and the next 27 days. It is a read-only view: it does not book, cancel or change a meeting. A booked slot can show its details. A free slot opens the official ClasseViva page, where the parent can continue. These calendars make school events available alongside the other calendars in Home Assistant. You can use them in your dashboards and in the calendar tools that Home Assistant already provides. You can also select the school year. The automatic choice follows the current year. You can select an older year when you need to check past information. If the register rejects a saved password, Home Assistant can ask for the new one. You do not have to remove and add the integration again, and the existing entity IDs stay the same. You can add a dedicated CVV Dashboard page to the Home Assistant sidebar. This page can show the configured students together. An update notice can take an authorised Home Assistant user to the standard Updates page. Home Assistant controls access and installation; the notice does not install an update by itself. The homework view now reads the data from the family portal and sorts upcoming tasks by due date. The card refreshes when the homework data changes. The Agenda keeps the last valid events if a request fails and reports the problem instead of showing a blank list. Recent grades use a clear vertical list, with the newest result first. The selected school year stays consistent between the card and its data. Earlier updates improved the first load of the card, the read status of notices and the order of Agenda events. They also added a school-year selector, password renewal and an optional sidebar page. These changes focus on a simple goal: show the information you need and keep the view useful when a request does not work. Install it from HACS	Installala da HACS
CVV Dashboard is now listed in the default HACS integration directory. Search for CVV Dashboard in HACS under Integrations, install it and restart Home Assistant. Then go to Settings → Devices & services → Add integration and select CVV Dashboard.	CVV Dashboard è ora presente nella directory predefinita delle integrazioni HACS. The Lovelace card is part of the integration. Home Assistant loads it for you, so you do not need to install a second package or add a separate card resource. The integration requires Home Assistant 2024.7.0 or later and HACS. It uses the standard ClasseViva user name and password. It does not work when a school requires access through SPID or CIE.
