The web app showip.io was inspired by other web apps like showmyipaddress.com, ip. me, etc. The web app is server-rendered with ReactJs and ExpressJs.
The server runs a Node.js application managed by PM2 and gives users secure access through an Nginx reverse proxy. The Nginx server offers HTTPS via a free certificate by Let’s Encrypt.
