This is a submission for the Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge Week 1: Touch Grass
What I Built
EcoQuest is an AI-powered open-source outdoor companion designed specifically to get users off their screens and back into nature.
Instead of endless scrolling, EcoQuest provides real-world micro-challenges, nature identification tools, and outdoor exploration prompts. Built with privacy and outdoor functionality in mind, it operates with a minimalist interface to ensure users spend more time looking at their surroundings than at their phone screens.

- Backend Infrastructure: Node.js / Express deployed on Render to deliver dynamic APIs and outdoor prompt generators.
- AI Integration: Open-weight models and prompt architecture optimized to deliver concise outdoor missions and species/nature identification guidance.
