*number *- carries number , whole no, float, decimal
*string *- sequence of information
*boolean *- true or false
*bigint *- large number
*null *- intentional absence of any obj value
*undefined *- declared variable but not yet given a value
*symbol *- handles unique code
non-primitive --> object (fixed things)
