A feature callout image should work as buyer proof first. Decoration comes after the proof is clear.
It should answer one buyer question with visible proof.
Use this checklist before creating one:
- Pick the buyer doubt Examples:
Will this fit?
Is the material durable?
What comes in the box?
Is the product easy to clean?
Which variant am I choosing?
- Pick the proof point Start with the part of the product that proves the answer before choosing icons or labels.
Useful proof points include:
stitching
clasp
cap
pump
port
compartment
scale reference
included accessories
texture
package contents
- Keep the claim small "Water-resistant coating" is stronger than "built for every adventure" if the image can show droplets and material finish.
"Removable divider" is stronger than "easy organization" if the image shows the divider clearly.
Check mobile size
Feature callouts often fail on mobile. The product should still be recognizable. The label should remain readable without zoom. The arrow should point to a real part.Compare against the real SKU
AI can sharpen the wrong detail. Check color, shape, label, included parts, ports, seams, finish, and scale before publishing.
