Still a beginner — but I’m proud of my small steps.
As June 2025 moves gently along, I took a moment to reflect on how far I’ve come — not in years, not in degrees, but just in the last few weeks.
This month, I made a promise to myself:
To wake up early, to show up daily, and to build quiet discipline. And here’s what that looked like:
🎯 Goals I set for myself this month:
Wake up daily between 5–6AM 🌄
Write 3 pages of morning thoughts ✍️
Read daily for 20–30 minutes 📚
Take showers (almost) every day 🌧️
Learn a new language (hello Korean 🇰🇷)
Continue my guitar course 🎸
Begin my ALX journey in tech 🚀
Learn Git, GitHub & Git Bash 💻
Install Windows 10 successfully 🖥️
Reduce social media and series use 🧘♀️
Listen to inspiring podcasts and speakers 🎧
💪 What I accomplished:
Most of these goals? I’ve either started or made consistent progress. I’m especially proud of building a morning routine that actually sticks, and opening new doors in tech (Git, GitHub, Bash).
🧡 Still in progress:
Getting deeper into my ALX curriculum
Starting Java and learning about ADF
Playing sports / moving more
Building healthier food habits
I share this not to boast — but to remind myself (and maybe you) that even when you're a beginner, your effort matters. That small daily acts are not small at all. That growth isn't always shiny — but it's always sacred.
If you're also trying to build something quietly and consistently, I see you. And I'm cheering you on. 🌿✨
