Should you pivot? That's a tough question that only you can answer. You have to follow your gut feelings. If there's a recurring pattern with the feedback you're getting, then that could mean something. It may not mean to pivot, but it's just something to take into consideration.

It looks like your other post was made just yesterday. I would give it some time and really let it simmer.

I don't think a full pivot is necessary. I see the criticisms you got in your other post more as suggestions for possible extensions or cosmetic improvements.

The addition of external links that give more context is a good start, and a more engaging reading / browsing experience instead of source-less short quotes. I would even set up the submission process so a source link is a requirement.

If a source is not there, then a Dev.to or Reddit discussion could be automatically started for the submitted quote?

Overall I think context matters a lot.
