In addition to LinkedIn, we accessed data from Upwork to gather alternative insights into the numbers of active software developers in the LATAM region, providing a broader perspective on developer engagement and participation.

Our study also incorporated analysis from GitHub’s annual “State of the Octoverse” reports which provided valuable insights into global software development trends based on data from millions of repositories and contributions on their platform. This gave us valuable insights into developer communities across Latin America.
