I started on designing my own homebrew 8bit computer this summer. I've been at for a couple of months already now, and expect it to take it a lot more months if not years to finish it.
People have been suggesting I write stuff and show pictures of it on the internet, so I started a blog to document my progress. There's not that much stuff there yet, and I hope I don't forget to update it every now and then. Currently the GPU part is starting to look like something and soon I'll start designing the CPU portion - or the actual computer part of it.
