I spent 23 years on structural steel, holding a paint spray gun and a high-precision thickness gauge as a AMPP/NACE Level 2 coatings inspector, NCSO safety officer, and SSPC specialist, my entire life was about proving things wouldn't fail under pressure.
I have no computer science degree, never went to school for programming, and openly admit to not hand rolling my own code.
