As a postgrad student and AI enthusiast, often I have to read research papers on AI/ML topics. But there are times when I find it difficult to understand complex equations in those papers due to unknown mathematical symbols. So, I decided to make a list of all necessary mathematical symbols. I took help from chatGPT and claude to make the list. Here are few symbols from the document I created.
The list has following categories

- Calculus and analysis

- Optimization and functions
- Neural network specific symbols
