hping3 -S -p 80 --traceroute target can use TCP SYN packets to perform path tracing, bypassing the situation where traditional traceroute based on ICMP may be filtered by firewalls.
hping3 -S -p 1-1024 --fast target can quickly scan ports with specific flags, and determine port status based on the returned flags (SA for open, RA for closed).
Practice: Perform a SYN scan and TCP traceroute on an internal host in a lab environment, and compare the results with nmap -sS. If hping3's custom flag packets evade IDS detection while nmap is flagged, you should add alert rules for anomalous TCP flag combinations.
