You’re not alone, brother! πŸ˜‚πŸŽ I’m a Mac user too, and I had exactly the same reaction when I saw there was no macOS version.

Hopefully APIC v2 will change that. We Mac users want to join the fun too! πŸ˜„πŸ‘Š

A desktop editor gets much easier to evolve when the document model is specified before the canvas tools. Versioned project files, deterministic imports, and a small rendering abstraction give you room to improve UI without trapping users in a one-way format. Excited to see which of those contracts you make public in v2.

Yeah, Thanks for the excitement I would really try my best to make apic v2 worthy enough to handle your excitement 😊 πŸ˜„

Great to see APIC v2 officially moving forward, brother! πŸ‘ŠπŸš€

One suggestion from my side: don’t underestimate Linux and macOS support. A genuinely cross-platform, lightweight image editor with reliable batch processing could fill a useful gap.

For v2, I’d particularly love to see batch conversion, metadata preservation controls, and reproducible compression settings. Being able to process hundreds of images consistently without manually repeating the same steps would be a huge advantage.

One small thought about the release strategy: tying the launch to 2,000 downloads is a fun community milestone, but I’d prioritize stability and testing readiness over the download counter.

Keep building, brother. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with! πŸ§πŸ‘Š

Yeah bro definitely I would make it cross OS support, also 2k I set because I know to reach it at least more 1 month will be gone and in 1month I can do all tests and development.
