Welcome to your new home in Salesforce Cloud! 🚀

Moving into a new digital workspace is a lot like moving into a new house. The walls are ready and the plumbing works, but right now it feels a bit empty. It's time to unpack, set up your space, and make this home truly yours!

Here is your quick-start guide to getting comfortable and letting your neighbors (and teammates) know you've arrived on Day 1.

1. Say Hello: Update Your Profile Picture

Let your new neighbours know you have arrived! Putting a face (or a persona) to your name builds instant connection across your org and Chatter streams.

Choose a picture that represents your vibe:

• A formal passport/headshot photo: for a clean, professional corporate look.
• An outdoors photo: captures your real-life personality in a single frame.
• Your Creative Avatar: a digital cartoon, custom illustration, or artwork that showcases your creative side.
• Your favorite Action Figure or Character: represent your inner superhero, whether it's Spider-Man, Batman, or a classic pop-culture icon!

How to set it up

1. Click View profile in the top-right corner of the header bar.

Hover over your avatar at the far right of the header bar and the **View profile* tooltip appears.*

1. Click your Name or photo area to open your profile page.
2. Hover over the photo circle, click the Camera icon 📷, and select Upload Image.
3. Adjust the crop boundary, frame your picture, and click Save.

💡 Pro Tip: Keep your image file under 16 MB and use a supported format (.jpg, .png, or .gif).

2. Add Your Nameplate: Fill Out Your "About Me" Section

Now that your photo is set, it's time to put your nameplate on the door! Introducing yourself in your profile helps colleagues, cross-functional teams, and managers learn about your role, expertise, and interests.

How to set it up

1. On your User Profile page, click the Pencil icon (✏️) in the About section (or next to your contact info/bio).
2. Share a brief intro about yourself: your role, background, skills, or even a fun personal icebreaker!
3. Click Save.
