You can set up a proxy in the Telegram settings by going to the Proxy menu in the app and entering your server details..
On Android
- Open Telegram and tap the Menu icon (three lines) in the top-left corner.
- Tap Settings, then scroll down and select Data and Storage.
- Scroll to the bottom, tap Proxy Settings, and toggle Use Proxy to ON.
- Tap Add Proxy and select SOCKS5.
- Enter your proxy details (Server/IP address, Port, and your Username/Password).
- Save the settings by tapping the checkmark in the top-right corner.
On iPhone (iOS)
- Open the Telegram app and tap Settings in the bottom-right corner.
- Scroll down and select Data and Storage.
- Tap Proxy, then tap Add Proxy and choose your proxy type (SOCKS5).
- Fill in the required Server, Port, and Credentials.
- Tap Done to save, then toggle the proxy switch to ON.
On Desktop (Windows, Mac, Linux)
- Open the Telegram Desktop app and click the menu icon (three lines) in the top-left corner.
- Click Settings, then go to Advanced.
- Click on Connection Type and select Use custom proxy.
- Choose the protocol (SOCKS5).
- Enter the proxy details, including Server, Port, and any required login credentials.
- Click Save or Done to apply.
