SPO600: Journey begins

Introduction

Today was the first lecture of SPO666 course. I was pretty excited; for the reason, that I didn't even understand what to expect from this course. Even though I have read the course description, I was wondering what am I going to learn, the process, etc... Shortly, I couldn't even imagine.

Short Task Took So Long

In the first lecture we had an introduction, course structure, and the schedule. Basic start, then professor started explaining ssh. He showed us how to generate ssh key, using openSSH, explained the difference between private and public key, and helped us find their location. It was pretty interesting, professor was explaining things I was doing to connect my git. However, then I had no clue what am I doing and why... Therefore, we had to try things out, get first touch, connect to the matrix.

Unfortunately, it took so long because some people would forget their passwords or connect to the wrong remote connection. Eventually, we have all connected.

Conclusion

After the first lecture I realized that this course isn't going to be simple, but I expected it to be so. Professor is smart, looks like he has ton of experience. Looking forward to gain lots of knowledge from this course.
