Sandi Metz is most certainly not the authority on Object Oriented Design. She merely re-iterated what previous experts in the field originated. I'd recommend reading books by Rebecca Wirfs-Brock, Alistair Cockburn, and Craig Larman instead, just to name a few. I'd stay away from Sandi Metz's books.

I think she's great! I've read more than a few other authors and Metz is one of the best in my own opinion.
I'd certainly be interested in any substantive arguments you've got, but her work has been useful to me in conjunction with other material.
