What Boni Sign Is
Boni Sign is an e-signature product from Boni, an Indian technology company that also builds Bino and Bow Chat.
It gives you a hosted place to send documents for signature, collect signed agreements, manage reusable templates, and keep a searchable record of every signed document — who signed, when, and in what order.
The product is live and hosted by Boni, currently in active internal use — sending partner agreements, NDAs, offer letters, and service contracts. External access is expanding.
The Problem It Is Built to Solve
Collecting a signature from another party is, in practice, a multi-step chase. You prepare the document, convert it to PDF, email it, wait for the other party to print, sign, scan, and send it back. Half the time the scan is skewed, the signature page is missing, or the return lands in spam. Then someone has to file the PDF, remember where they filed it, and find it a year later when a dispute or renewal comes up.
At ten agreements a month it is annoying. At hundreds — onboarding partners, signing suppliers, bringing on contractors — it consumes serious calendar time, and someone owns a "who hasn't signed yet" spreadsheet that is always out of date.
Boni Sign replaces this with a flow where you send the document, the other party clicks a link and signs, and you both get a completed copy automatically. The record is searchable. No print, no scan, no spreadsheet.
How It Works in Plain Words
Templates
A template is a document you use more than once — a partner agreement, an NDA, an offer letter. You upload it once and define the fields (where the signature goes, the date, anything the signer fills in) and save it. Next time, you pick the template and enter the recipient's name and email — no re-uploading or reformatting. Boni Sign currently has multiple active templates; adding one is straightforward.
Sending a Document
To send a document for signature, you create a submission: pick the template, enter the recipient's name and email, and send. The recipient gets an email with a link to the signing interface, opens it in a browser, reviews the document, fills any fields, and clicks to sign. No account is required on their side. If you need two signatures in order — the partner signs first, then you countersign — you can set that sequence; the second signer does not get the link until the first has finished. On completion, both parties get the signed document and the record is stored.
Signing Interface
The recipient sees the document as sent, with fields highlighted where they need to act. They sign by drawing, typing, or uploading an image of their signature; date fields can auto-fill. When done, they submit. No app to install — it works in a browser on mobile or desktop.
The Signed Record
Every completed signing creates an audit record: who signed, what they signed, when each step happened, and the final document. It lives in Boni Sign and is searchable — find an agreement by signer name, email, or template, without digging through an email archive. The signed PDF is downloadable at any time.
Notifications and Delivery
When a signing is complete, both the sender and the signer receive the finished document automatically. If you want it delivered in a different channel — for example, through a messaging conversation rather than email — that can be configured separately.
What You Can Do With It
Send a one-off agreement. Upload a PDF, place signature fields, enter the recipient's details, send — useful for contracts or letters sent occasionally to different people.
Reuse a standard template. Define your partner agreement or NDA once, send it to new recipients without reformatting. Every submission links back to the same template version, so you always know which version was signed.
Collect multi-party signatures in order. For agreements needing both parties to sign — with your company countersigning — set the signing sequence; each party signs in turn and neither can skip ahead.
Search your signed agreements. Look up any signed document by signer, template, or date range; download the signed PDF; see the timeline of events.
Handle volume. Boni uses Boni Sign to manage a large number of partner agreements — it is built for recurring sends at volume, not just one-off documents.
Who It Is For
Businesses that sign partner or supplier agreements regularly — onboarding partners, distributors, vendors, or contractors, and wanting a clean signed record per relationship instead of an email thread.
Teams that use templates — where the body stays the same and only per-recipient fields change, templates cut prep to near zero per send.
Small businesses doing B2B work — signing a handful of agreements a month and wanting something more reliable than printing and scanning, without an enterprise contract or long setup.
Bino partners — Boni Sign is already the signing surface for Bino's partner agreements; if you join the Bino network as a business partner, your agreement arrives through Boni Sign.
What It Is Not
Boni Sign is not a legally certified digital signature under every jurisdiction's e-signature law. The signed record includes timestamped evidence of who acted and when — meaningful and audit-ready — but for documents needing a specific legal standard (court filings, property transactions, government submissions), confirm the applicable requirements with a professional before relying on any e-signature platform.
It is not a document drafting tool — you bring the document; Boni Sign handles sending, signing, and record-keeping. And it is not yet fully self-serve for all businesses; access is expanding and setup currently involves the Boni team.
What the Audit Trail Covers
For every signed document, the record includes: the template it was sent from; the recipient's name and email; when the request was sent; when the recipient viewed it; when each field was completed; when the submission was finalized; and the signed document itself. This is not a guarantee against all disputes, but it is a clean, searchable, exportable record — substantially more useful than a scanned PDF in someone's email.
How to Get Started
Because access is expanding, the first step is to contact Boni and describe your use case — what documents you send, roughly how many a month, and whether you need templates or one-off sends. The team sets up the account, creates initial templates if needed, and walks through the first send. The product is hosted and managed by Boni — nothing to install or host.
If you send agreements regularly and want to stop managing the process through email and PDFs, Boni Sign is the place to start. Send documents, collect signatures, keep records — without the paper trail. Start at Boni Sign.
