My Open Source Journey

Intro

Myself Amritanshu Keshari the second year CSE student from Bakhtiyarpur College of Engineering, Patna . This was my first time on Hacktoberfest participation. I was so confused that how I submit 4PR request because I don't know about GitHub as well. After applying on Hacktoberfest, my afraid said that you have to do more practice because you are new baby in this open source contribution. I started learning GitHub know how to send pull request how to fork how to get assignments on any projects all these things.

After completing my Learning process, I started contribution take a day and started contribution on Hacktoberfest. In one day I have submitted my 4 PR but I am sure that I will definitely selected and all my PR would be accepted. After a week I got a mail that all your 4 PR got accepted and I got reward kit from Hacktoberfest. And after completing my first PR I got a tree planted that was very nice for me and I feel that I am doing great for our Earth, our world, our nature and our animals.

Highs and Lows

Yes, after applying I face problems because I don't know even how to send or merge pull request I think only console is the one option but after learning I found that we can do from GitHub also.

Growth
