I look after articulating inspection cameras in the UK. The camera on my bench has no screen of its own. The picture shows on a USB-C phone.
The probe is 6 mm on a 1 m cable. A slider on the handle bends the tip both ways. The picture is 1920 by 1440 on a 1/9 CMOS sensor, with LEDs around the lens. The probe is IP67.
I clip the phone onto the holder and plug the USB-C lead into the phone. The slider bends the tip, and the light button turns the LEDs on. I pinch the phone screen to zoom, then press the photo button on the handle. I feed the 6 mm probe in, and I keep the handle and the phone plug dry.
The notes for this camera are on articulatinghub.co.uk.
