How to fix Netgear router orange light problem?

Netgear nighthawk routers are nowdays used by the gamers. Because they are building the high bandwidth router, which can be used by the gamers to enjoy the online gaming with low ping rates.
Setting up the network connection on the router is very easy, you just need to make certain changes into it and then your router will start working fine. Although netgear router is really awesome router to use. But sometimes, users might be dealing with the minor issues with it.
Flashing amber light on the router is one of them. When this light blinks on the router, it means there is no internet connectivity on the router, so you have to troubleshoot the internet connection and then only it will start working.
To fix such kind of issues, you need to make certain changes into the router settings, than your router will start working fine.
Check the modem and internet settings-
When you don’t see the green internet light on the netgear wireless router, you should check the modem and internet settings. be sure that you have the internet from the isp. If you can’t access the internet from them, you can change the router and modem settings.
Make the connection-
after checking the internet connection, next thing, you need to do is check the internet connection on the router as well. your modem should be connected to the router in the proper way. If it doesn’t show you the correct status, you may reset the connection.
Apart from this, you should also power cycle the netgear wireless router and modem once. Now let’s try to access the internet again.
Check the network identification-

This problem only occurs when your modem is unable to identify the router or connect with it. If such thing happens on your router, the method to fix is to clone your PC's MAC address into your router, and then try to reconnect your modem with your router.

Update the router firmware-
Next thing, you need to do is update the firmware on the netgear router, to do that, you may visit the netgear router firmware settings, and upload the firmware file now update it. once you will update the firmware file on the netgear router, it will start working fine.
While updating the router firmware, please ensure that you are using a correct version of version. Do not use the invalid firmware. otherwise, it might cause firmware failure or router failure issue.
Factory reset the settings-
After changing the following settings, if your netgear wireless router is still not working fine, you should factory reset the wireless router and reconfigure it using the correct wireless settings. if you don’t have those settings with you, you may reset the internet settings, than your firmware will start working fine for you.
